The Management

Capt Ajay Shivran is an Ex Merchant Navy Officer (21 Years at Sea) and a Sport Pilot, Based out of Thane, Mumbai. He has also been a Director, in Mariner’s Academy, a DG Sipping, Govt of India Approved training organization to train Seafarers, for 10 years, after he left active sailing. He completed his Sport Pilots  Licence from Thailand in 2014 and has flown Microlight and assembled  aircrafts. He has more than 100 hours as hobby pilot. He presently owns 4 Airplanes and has built 6 Airplanes in Amateur Built Category, which include, two Zenith 701, two Zenith 601, a Quicksilver MXL2 and a X-Air. Training courses:

(a) CPL + Frozen ATLP, Duration 24 months, Location – India + Malta.

(b) PPL – Duration 6 Months, Location India + Malta.

(Students will move to Malta after clearing their Indian CPL papers.)

 

Faq’s :

(a) What are your Payment schedules?

Payment Schedule is as per the company policy which shall be discussed at the time of admission. Easy Installment option is also available.

(b) What is your refund policy?

A full refund is available after deduction of Admission and Processing Charges.

(c) How do I convert from EASA to Indian CPL?

Full assistance will be provided to you in the process of conversion from EASA to Indian CPL

(d) How do I obtain a student VISA?

The procedure is as follows:

  1. Student visa application.
  2. Passport size photograph.
  3. Original Passport with at least 12 months validity
  4. An offer letter from the Malta university (which will be provided by the EPA
  5. Proof of payment of the university Tuition fee
  6. Proof of sufficient funds to cover all your expenses

(e) How much will the accommodation cost me?

Accommodation is pretty reasonable in Malta, starting at Euro 250 per month, on sharing basis; EPA shall coordinate with the candidate and help them find suitable accommodation near the airport.

(f) Is there any lease to be paid?

There is no lease money to be paid.

(g) Can I find a part time job in Malta?

Yes. The biggest advantage to join EPA is that the candidate also gets an opportunity to work and can earn good wages, which can be used to offset their expenses.

(h) How much will I get paid if I pick up a part time job?

Normally the part time job can earn you Euro 5-25 per hour, depending on your capabilities. The cap of working for not more than 20 Hrs a week, is applicable.

(j) What is the normal duration of the course?

The normal duration is 2 years for EASA Frozen ATPL.

(k) What is current & future scenario of Civil Aviation in India?

India had barely two State controlled operators till late 80s, having limited resources & destinations. After Government’s open sky policy, number of private operators has come in with world-class services. They also have undertaken to bring air travel within reach of common man. This has resulted in a healthy competition, with more airlines starting operations soon. All this has resulted in large requirement of trained manpower. There is a large business waiting for regional airlines, and work is already in progress to start these.
